Prescription Refills

  • Should you have no refills left, please book an appointment with your family doctor.

  • It is important to have regular follow-ups with your family doctor to monitor your health, dosage changes, etc.

  • Refills will not be done via phone/email/fax.

Patient Confidentiality

  • It is important to us to keep your medical information safe and confidential.

  • According to the SMA Privacy Guideline, email is an unsecured way to communicate confidential patient specific information.

  • Please note that our email is for business administration purposes only and emails containing confidential patient specific information will not be accepted, answered or returned.

No Show Policy

No show charges (if not notified within 24 hours):

  • Regular appointment $35

  • Physical $50

  • Psychotherapy $50

We understand that there are times when you need to miss an appointment due to emergencies, work or family obligations and we know that your time is valuable. However, when you do not call to cancel an appointment, you may be preventing another patient from getting much needed care. Conversely, the situation might arise when another patient fails to cancel and we are unable to schedule you for a visit due to a seemingly “full” schedule.

If appointments are being missed repeatedly without canceling, there will be a charge and possible discharge from the practice.

Zero Tolerance Policy

At Legends Medical Clinic we have a Zero Tolerance Policy against verbal and physical abuse of any kind against staff, doctors and patients.

If you show any signs of abuse, you will be escorted from the building and could be discharged from the practice.
